Renowned for it fast and fun rolling course through the north woods, this 6th annual celebration is also known for having snow and being the premier early season race. 2009 will be the second year this race is part of the Minnesota Skinny Ski Series, and is excited to be kicking it off again this winter!
Located 18 miles North of Duluth on the beautiful Boulder Lake Management Ski Trails owned by Minnesota Power, the race takes you through a fast and fun rolling course through tall timber. There are two races, the 10.3K which does one lap, and the 31K course which does three laps. The 31K will be the Skinnyski Series event. All trails will be groomed for skate only as this is a skate only race. Great early season race to get under the belt before the Pepsi Challenge and the rest. Was the largest race in Duluth area the last several years, and last year we gave away over $1,000 in door prizes, so you might get lucky if you don’t take home an award. Register early for biggest savings.
